Baseball Recap: Aztec Tigers vs. Shiprock Chieftains

In what's become a running theme this season, Aztec gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Shiprock Chieftains as the Aztec Tigers made off with a 13-2 win. Winning may never get old, but Aztec sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Dalton Wilmer made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Wilmer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

In other batting news, Aztec got a massive performance out of Kale Watson, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Sylas Hengst was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
