Basketball Recap: Green Level Takes Down Laney in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Green Level had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Laney Buccaneers with a sharp 52-27 victory. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Claire Barber continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, to rack up 22 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Baker, who posted 11 points.

Green Level has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Laney and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Coming up, Green Level will take on Hoggard at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hoggard will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Green Level surely won't give up without a fight. Laney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
