Oakland will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Santa Cruz typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Oakland proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 48-44 W over the Cardinals.
Oakland had a senior duo take command as Anthony Lacy dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds and Chapple scored 14 points along with two steals. Rohm Neal was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, Oakland Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Berkeley by a score of 50-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Oakland Tech has suffered since December 27, 2023.
Oakland is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Oakland Tech, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.
