Lubbock came out on top against Caprock on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Westerners walked away with a 7-3 win over the Longhorns. Winning may never get old, but the Westerners sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lubbock's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-3. As for Caprock, they moved to 9-7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Lubbock and Caprock will both be playing Tascosa the next time they take the field. The Longhorns will head out to face the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Westerners will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
