Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomas Walker). They snuck past the Clinch Wildcats with a 70-65 win on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pioneers considering their 25-point performance the match before.

Thomas Walker's victory bumped their record up to 3-19. As for Clinch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Thomas Walker is taking a road trip to face off against Rye Cove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinch, they will host Cedar View Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clinch knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Cedar View Christian likes a good challenge.
