Volleyball Recap: South Effingham Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Southeast Bulloch came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against South Effingham, but Lauren Olson wouldn't allow it. The Mustangs came out on top against the Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Olson, who had five aces and three digs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Effingham was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

South Effingham has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Southeast Bulloch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Effingham will venture away from home to take on Effingham County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast Bulloch, they will take on Islands at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Yellow Jackets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
