The Tussey Mountain Titans will challenge the Northern Bedford County Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tussey Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Tussey Mountain's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Williamsburg 20-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their one-run performance the match before.

Joslyn Raley made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Adyson Weyandt was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. She has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lila Gabrielson, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Tussey Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Williamsburg only posted a batting average of .062.
Meanwhile, Northern Bedford County came up short against Claysburg-Kimmel on Monday, falling 13-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.
Northern Bedford County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kasey McElgin, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Tussey Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Northern Bedford County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1.
Northern Bedford County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Tussey Mountain hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Northern Bedford County, though, as they've only averaged .206. Will they be able to contain Tussey Mountain's hitters?
