Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Austin's offense. They lost 8-0 to Spring Woods on Friday. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Waltrip, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
