Riley Marcott posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out four batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
