Peyton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Fowler Grizzlies by a score of 42-30. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Syriah Alvarez and Kory Pieper certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Alvarez dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Pieper posted nine points and six boards. Pieper continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Peyton's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Fowler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Peyton is taking a road trip to square off against The Colorado Springs School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fowler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
