Basketball Recap: Swink Gets the Win

Swink's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs by a score of 44-36.

Among those leading the charge was Taylor Mendenhall, who posted 12 points. Jocelynn James was another key player, putting up nine points.

Swink now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pueblo Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Swink and Sanford will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Pueblo Centennial, they and Hoehne will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Hoehne's defense has only allowed 25.8 points per game this season, so Pueblo Centennial's offense will have their work cut out for them.
