Soccer Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Berkshire

Berkshire barely beat Villa Angela-St. Joseph the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Badgers never let the Vikings get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Roman Percic as he scored three goals for his team.

Berkshire pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those four games. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkshire will venture away from home to face off against Kirtland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berkshire's defense better be ready for this one: Kirtland have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harding at 6:00 p.m. on September 9.
