Baseball Recap: Palmetto Takes a Loss

Palmetto lost against Parrish Community last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Bulls, falling 14-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blake Willis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Parrish Community, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Palmetto will face off against rival Lennard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Parrish Community is set to challenge their familiar foe Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
