Fishers is 6-1 against Franklin Central since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Flashes at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Fishers is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Avon, who was ranked eighth at the time (Fishers was ranked sixth). The Tigers enjoyed a cozy 29-15 win over the Orioles on Friday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Orioles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Fishers had a senior duo take command as Ryan Thembulembu gained 183 total yards and a touchdown and Gage Sturgill threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance, Thembulembu is now averaging an impressive 102.2 rushing yards per game. Fishers' leading receiver Vincent Rozzi was Sturgill's top target yet again, picking up 71 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Fishers didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Atticus Finley, Kayden Myers, and Jaxson Andrews picked up one apiece. Andrews has been hot, having also posted at least one defended passe the last five times he's played. Emmanuel Cowherd was another major factor on D, making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Franklin Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Noblesville 37-10. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 23-3.
Franklin Central's win came from a few key players Fishers will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Nathan Sparks, who rushed for 185 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run. Hudson Moritz was another key player, gaining 179 total yards and two touchdowns.
Franklin Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 92 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 174.3.
Franklin Central's defense made their presence known, laying out Windsor Hutchins four times. Noblesville's QB won't forget Andrew Harmon anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Harmon also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. Franklin Central got some further help from Jose Butler: he picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles.
Fishers' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Franklin Central, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.
