Baseball Game Preview: San Ramon Valley Wolves vs. Foothill Falcons

For the second straight game, San Ramon Valley will face off against Foothill. The Wolves will head out to challenge the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. San Ramon Valley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

San Ramon Valley's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Foothill.

Will Rau tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Colton Fitzgibbon was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Jacob Quinto was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Foothill's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-8. As for San Ramon Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-2.
