The Clinton Yellowjackets will take on the Russellville Cyclones at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Clinton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Morrilton as they made off with a 9-3 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Yellowjackets have posted against the Devil Dogs since April 11, 2016.

Meanwhile, Russellville got themselves on the board against Harrison on Friday, but Harrison never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over the Goblins. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cyclones needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Abigail Blythe looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.

On the hitting side, Raegan Skiles was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with eight RBI, two triples, and two runs. Those eight RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Skiles, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one double.

Russellville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .806. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Clinton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Russellville, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
