Basketball Game Preview: Naselle Comets vs. Ocosta Wildcats

The Naselle Comets will face off against the Ocosta Wildcats at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Ocosta took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Naselle, who comes in off a win.

Naselle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-16 victory over Lake Quinault. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Comets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Ocosta came up short against North Beach on Saturday and fell 50-41. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ocosta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Naselle, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Everything came up roses for Naselle against Ocosta in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 52-17 win. In that game, Naselle amassed a halftime lead of 26-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
