Basketball Game Preview: Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers vs. St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs

Manitowoc Lutheran and St. Mary Catholic are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers will head out to challenge the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, Manitowoc Lutheran was able to grind out a solid win over Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, taking the game 60-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Mary Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They claimed a resounding 85-49 victory over Hilbert. The Zephyrs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

St. Mary Catholic now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
