Basketball Recap: Hannibal Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fatima, Hannibal was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders 58-55. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hannibal's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Quincy Notre Dame, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

When Hannibal and Quincy Notre Dame next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Hannibal will try to stop Moberly's four-game winning streak when the meet at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Quincy Notre Dame will take on Palmyra and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
