Carson has gone a perfect 10-0 against Narbonne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Colts will be playing at home against the Gauchos at 3:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Carson had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 26-run drubbing they dealt Gardena on Monday. The Colts' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 26-0 shutout.
Isabella Campos looked comfortable as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kayleigh Allen was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and five runs. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Atiana Rodriguez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Carson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Narbonne made sure to put some runs up on the board against Rancho Dominguez on Monday. The Gauchos were the clear victors by a 22-5 margin over the Lobos. The Gauchos' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Mariah Villalobos made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Villalobos was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Semone Flowers was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lilliana Gutierrez, who went a perfect 6-for-6 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Carson has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 18-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Narbonne, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Carson has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Narbonne struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Carson took their victory against Narbonne in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 18-1 score. Do the Colts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gauchos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
