Softball Recap: Harris County Tigers vs. Eastside Eagles
Harris County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Eastside Eagles onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Tigers have won 21 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Lani Dansby, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in home runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Miller Daniel, who went 1-for-1 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base.
Harris County lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post two or more home runs.
Harris County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 34-3 record this season. As for Eastside, their loss dropped their record down to 27-4.
