Volleyball Preview: Hardee Wildcats vs. George Jenkins Eagles        
        
		
             Hardee has enjoyed a six-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to  take on the George Jenkins Eagles  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
 Hardee might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  3-0 to DeSoto County, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their  contest on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
 The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22,  25-12.
 Meanwhile, George Jenkins posted their biggest  victory since August 28th on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over Ridge Community.
 The  3-0 doesn't show just how dominant George Jenkins was: they took every set by at least 11 points. After all that action, the final score was 25-10, 25-14,  25-8.
 Hardee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for George Jenkins, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Hardee came up short against George Jenkins in their previous meeting  back in October of 2020, falling  2-0. Can Hardee avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
