Volleyball Recap: North Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

North waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the West Pioneers. The RedHawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pioneers, too.

North easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7.

North found their leader in sophomore Sydney Araiza, who had ten digs and two aces.

North was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

North's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for West, they dropped their record down to 1-7-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, North and West will both be playing East the next time they take the court. The RedHawks will head out to face the Aces at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pioneers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
