Kingstree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Marion Swamp Foxes. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kingstree's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingstree will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Manning at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Marion, they will challenge Wilson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Wilson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
