It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pana can now relate to. They fell to the Shelbyville Rams 50-44. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Pana lost on Monday, don't look at Sam Sims. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-12 en route to 17 points. Sims is becoming a predictor of Pana's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 4-2 (and 6-20 when he doesn't). Madyx Angel was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Pana's loss dropped their record down to 10-22. As for Shelbyville, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.
