Tucson High Magnet School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-4 to the Corona del Sol Aztecs. One positive for the Badgers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Juan Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Gabriel Morales was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Tucson High Magnet School's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Corona del Sol, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Tucson High Magnet School will head out to square off against Basic at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
