Softball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Roseburg

Roseburg never let their opponents score on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Sandy Pioneers. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on four straight.

Not much got past Cambria Bachmeier, who gave up just four hits to keep Sandy off the board. Bachmeier has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cadence Ellenwood, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ciera Singleton, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Roseburg pushed their record up to 21-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sandy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
