Volleyball Game Preview: North Chicago Warhawks vs. Westlake Christian Academy Eagles

The North Chicago Warhawks will take on the Westlake Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: North Chicago has struggled recently with 23 defeats in a row, while Westlake Christian Academy will arrive with four straight victories.

On Thursday, North Chicago came up short against Grayslake North and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Westlake Christian Academy beat Oakhill Christian 2-0 on Friday.

While Westlake Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10.

Westlake Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for North Chicago, their loss dropped their record down to 0-22.

North Chicago couldn't quite get it done against Westlake Christian Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Warhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
