Basketball Recap: Amarillo Collegiate Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Clariden

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Amarillo Collegiate Academy walked away with it. They pulled ahead with a 31-30 photo finish over the Clariden Cougars on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy can attribute much of their success to Caden Holly, who posted nine points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Will Stollings, who earned four points and four steals.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Clariden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Amarillo Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-25 loss against Weatherford Express HomeSchool on the 7th. Clariden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
