Baseball Recap: Ogemaw Heights Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Ogemaw Heights managed to slip by Gladwin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Falcons came up short against the Flying G's on Thursday, falling 11-4. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flying G's apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Conner Lambert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Ogemaw Heights' defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-2. As for Gladwin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ogemaw Heights will welcome Shepherd at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluejays' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Gladwin, they will challenge Harrison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.89 runs per game on average), something the Flying G's will no doubt try to take advantage of.
