Basketball Game Preview: Lake Buena Vista Vipers vs. Boone Braves + Official Tickets

Lake Buena Vista is 0-3 against Boone since January of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Vipers will venture away from home to face off against the Braves at 7:30 p.m. Lake Buena Vista has given up an average of 62.7 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Lake Buena Vista was beaten by Apopka 69-34.

Meanwhile, Boone was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 52-46 to Winter Park. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lake Buena Vista will need to focus on slowing down Bryce Deas, one of several Boone players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5-for-7 to rack up 14 points. Thanks to that strong game, Deas now owns an excellent 41.7% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Summer, who posted ten points in addition to eight boards and three blocks.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lake Buena Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Lake Buena Vista lost to Boone on the road by a decisive 70-52 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Vipers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
