Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Dover

While Dover didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged the Boonton Bombers out 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since February 8, 2024.

Dover's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.4 points across that stretch. As for Boonton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Dover has already played their next match (against Sussex County Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Boonton will square off against Whippany Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
