Palmer had won three straight games and Corbin Gerkin did his part to make it four on Friday. The Moose strolled past the Eagle River Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 31-14 thanks in part to Gerkin, who rushed for 107 yards and one score, and also picked up 105 receiving yards and one touchdown. Gerkin is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 107 every time he's taken the field this season.

Palmer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lee Kirby and Reed Craner.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Eagle River, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
