Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-2 to the Waltrip Rams. That's two games in a row now that the Marlins have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Waltrip, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Madison is set to face off against their familiar foe Sharpstown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Waltrip will take on rival Sterling at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
