Soccer Recap: Jeannette Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Freeport, Jeannette was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They beat the Carrick Raiders by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Jeannette were the better team in the second half.

Zion Harper and Darnell Berry Jr scored both of Jeannette's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

The win got Jeannette back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Jeannette will challenge South Allegheny at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carrick, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Carlynton at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
