Volleyball Recap: Greene Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greene Central lost against Washington back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams fell just short of the Pam Pack by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Greene Central sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-8, 18-25, 25-15, 23-25, 15-12.

Washington found their leader in sophomore Naomi Huss, who had seven digs and three aces. Huss also set a new season-high mark in assists with 29. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Bowes, who had eight kills, seven digs, and two blocks.

Greene Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Greene Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against SouthWest Edgecombe on the 4th. As for Washington, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against West Craven on the 4th.
