Football Recap: Wenatchee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Eisenhower last Friday, Wenatchee came back down to earth. The Panthers were dealt a 56-0 loss at the hands of the Moses Lake Mavericks on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Mavericks are ranked 16th).

Ryan Branam threw for 29 yards on seven of 21 attempts.

It was another big night for Brady Jay, who threw for 355 yards and six TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards and one score on only ten carries for Moses Lake. Jay is crushing it when it comes to passing yards: he's passed for at least 355 every time he's taken the field this season. Grant Smith did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 57 receiving yards.

Wenatchee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Moses Lake, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
