After a string of four wins, North Branch's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Coon Rapids Cardinals by a score of 13-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vikings have suffered since June 6, 2024.

North Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Coon Rapids, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
