Soccer Recap: Charlotte Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Charlotte and Parrish Community squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Charlotte had to settle for second. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Parrish Community Bulls who were credited with the victory. The Parrish Community Bulls got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons' two. The Fightin' Tarpons have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Noah Wooten wasn't going to let Parrish Community walk away unscathed as he scored both of Charlotte's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5-2. As for Parrish Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season.

Charlotte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parrish Community, they will square off against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakewood Ranch will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Parrish Community surely won't give up without a fight.
