Dalton entered their tilt with Sonoraville on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 2-0. The Catamounts have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phoenix, too.

Dalton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sonoraville between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Karyme Smithey paced Dalton's offense, picking up seven kills. Smithey got some help from Anjalee Lemons and her 20 assists. Andrea Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Dalton's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Sonoraville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, Dalton and Sonoraville will both be playing North Murray the next time they take the court. The Phoenix will head out to face the Mountaineers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Catamounts will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
