Zierre Brooks Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Thursday, Chambers got the W thanks in part to Zierre Brooks playing the best football he has all season. Brooks rushed for 201 yards while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.
Brooks and Chambers will look to defend their home field on Friday against North Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. Chambers is 8-2 against North Mecklenburg going back to October of 2014, a lead they'll look to extend.
