St. Monica entered their tilt with Bosco Tech on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bosco Tech Tigers a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mariners, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Alex Jurado and Matthew Martinez scored all three of St. Monica's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.
