Baseball Recap: Patton's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Patton entered their tilt with Mitchell on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Mountaineers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on March 5th.

Brady Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Cole Attaway was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Landry Duvall, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Patton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mitchell, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Patton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-6 win against Brevard on the 25th. As for Mitchell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Rosman on the 21st.
