Basketball Game Preview: Johnson County Sports Association Lions vs. Newman International Academy Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Johnson County Sports Association Lions will jump right back in to play the Newman International Academy Warriors at 10:45 a.m. on Friday. Johnson County Sports Association hasn't scored more than 30 points for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Johnson County Sports Association was outmatched by Bethesda Christian and fell 67-21.

Despite the defeat, Johnson County Sports Association had strong showings from Jason Calaway, who posted six points and six steals, and Noah Bond, who scored four points.

Meanwhile, Newman International Academy was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 58-57 to Heritage Christian Athletics.

Newman International Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Johnson County Sports Association, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
