The Dalles is 5-0 against McLoughlin since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Dalles Riverhawks will venture away from home to face off against the McLoughlin Pioneers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The Dalles took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 win over Tillamook. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Riverhawks have posted since February 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, McLoughlin was able to grind out a solid win over Walla Walla Valley Academy on Thursday, taking the game 57-46.

The Dalles' victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for McLoughlin, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

The Dalles strolled past McLoughlin in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 by a score of 58-39. Will The Dalles repeat their success, or does McLoughlin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
