Poland Seminary proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crestview Rebels, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lillian McDonald spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Leanna Boccieri was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Poland Seminary's record now sits at 9-6. As for Crestview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6-1.

Looking ahead, Poland Seminary will square off against Springfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Crestview, they will face off against Garfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
