Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Salado's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Salado unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the San Marcos Rattlers by a score of 2-1.

Salado saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Noske, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Salado's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6-1. As for San Marcos, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6-1 record this season.

Salado and San Marcos should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles will take on East View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (135 vs. 452). Meanwhile, San Marcos (ranked 130th) will meet Austin (ranked 689th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
