Soccer Recap: Glendora Takes a Loss

Glendora lost against Bonita back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Glendora Tartans came up short against the Bonita Bearcats, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Tartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while the Bearcats are ranked 94th).

Glendora moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Bonita, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glendora will challenge Walnut at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bonita, they will take on Ayala at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ayala is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
