Baseball Recap: Legacy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Legacy entered their tilt with Evanston on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Wildkits 11-5.

Kellen (KC) Reiser and Lucas Kelnhofer did most of the damage at the plate: Reiser went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Kelnhofer went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave Kelnhofer a new career-high. Bobby Hyatt also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Legacy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
