With a playoff win on the line, Middletown North rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 28-19 victory over the Middletown South Eagles. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 32-22 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Matthew Belenko continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 172 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run. Kade Little got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
